Beck

A handcrafted, off-grid forest retreat designed for slow, luxurious escapes.

Cross the bridge through the forest and step into Beck — our most spacious, thoughtfully crafted cabin yet. Nestled in a secluded woodland clearing, this off-grid retreat immerses you in nature while surrounding you with calm, comforting luxury.

Floor-to-ceiling windows at each corner frame the stream and trees, bringing the outside in and filling the space with natural light. Warm neutral tones, natural textures, and soft handcrafted furnishings create an atmosphere of total ease.

Every detail has been carefully considered: the open-plan living space centres around a powerful wood burner and a huge sofa, commissioned from a local craftsman with sustainably sourced sheep’s wool cushions. Oak kitchen worktops, lovingly crafted by Skot, complete the space.

A person reading a book titled "The Seventh Sun" at a cozy indoor setting with a fireplace, with a bottle of wine and two glasses of red wine on a rustic wooden table, along with a cheese platter and grapes.

  • “We had such a wonderful stay — it was exactly what we were hoping for! Peaceful, quiet, and so relaxing. Perfect for anyone looking to unwind for a few days. Just note that there isn’t much nearby, so be sure to bring plenty of supplies. Definitely recommend. 💚”

  • “We loved everything about this place!”

    — Ioana, Beck, Airbnb

  • “I booked Beck for a bit of a switch off, and it lived up to expectations and let me and my wife unwid! The place is very secluded, private and very peaceful and although theres 2 other places nearby, you are definitely not overlooked. The different areas outside were very nice to relax and the bridge over to the cabin is a lovely touch. Having a log burner and enough wood made it feel very cosy in the evenings! We did a walk to Rievaulx Abbey straight out of the door with our dog, which was about 4mi round trip through the fields! Overall we loved this place and would definitely come back!”
