Creekside

A luxury glamping experience in the woods. Under canvas but with all the comforts of the cabins

This is the perfect way to experience nature without compromising on luxury.

Creekside features a spacious 5-metre dome tent with inflatable beams and no central pole, which creates generous headroom and an open, comfortable feel, easily fitting a kingsize bed with room to spare. A wood burner keeps the space cosy on chilly evenings.

You’ll find all the comforts you’d expect at The Lazy T: a king-size bed with high-quality linens, indoor and outdoor fires, and a large private bathroom with a hot shower and flushing toilet. There’s also private covered kitchen/dining area beside the fire pit so you can enjoy the outdoors whatever the weather.

Designed to remove the barriers between you and nature, this is a place to slow down and reconnect. Sleep under canvas, let the stream ease you into rest, and wake to the calming sounds of the woodland but always in comfort.

Located beside the car park, the cabin is accessed via a gravel ramp leading to the bridge, with wide entrances and step-free access throughout.

Post stay guest reviews:

  • “We had a wonderfully relaxing anniversary weekend at Creekside. Trees, water, birds, thoughtful design/setup- it looks as good in real life as in the photos, if not better! The accommodation was beautiful, the setting perfect, and private. We would love to return.”

  • “10/10 couldn’t recommend enough. Me and my partner are already talking about coming back! Lovely hikes are in the guide books provided by the host’s. We walked to Helmsley on the first day. Second day we walks to the owl in Hawnby and visited the tea room, then walked back in the rain half cut passing the cows and belly laughing. Thank you for a perfect weekend.”

  • “What an incredible place to stay. We didn’t want to leave. Tucked away beside a creek on the edge of the woods, we found ourselves disconnected from the real world. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! The hosts are really friendly and helpful. Mapped a few good walks which we explored with the dogs. The owl in hawnby is a great place to visit. We really enjoyed our stay and it was sad to leave. We will definitely be returning in the near future!”

  • “We absolutely loved Creekside. Set in its own private setting, next to a brook, just perfect. The outdoor kitchen had everything you needed and the bathroom was a room with a great view! The king size bed was so comfy and being able to light the stove as it got chilly in the evening was a real bonus. We came away from there feeling totally relaxed and in love with the place.”
