Our traditional Sunday roast, cooked over fire and enjoyed at a slow pace surrounded by the most mesmerising sights and sounds of the forest at our hidden woodland location.

What to expect
Arrive at 1pm and be welcomed into our forest clearing, deep in the hidden valley at The Lazy T.
Settle in around the fire as we serve a selection of seasonal canapés and you have the chance to explore the bar and ease into the afternoon.
At 2pm, guests move into our canvas pavilion for the main event — a fire-cooked Sunday roast (pre-ordered in advance).
Our signature roast features locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, including beef reared by my dad on the pastures surrounding us, herb-fed chicken, and a selection of traditional seasonal sides.
To finish, enjoy a choice of desserts (options will be confirmed for your event).
Dietary requirements
We will always do our best to accommodate dietary requirements where possible, provided we are given sufficient notice. Please inform us at the time of booking of any allergies or dietary restrictions, as we cannot guarantee these can be catered for on the day.
Due to our woodland location, we are unable to cater for severe nut or airborne allergies. While we take precautions to avoid cross-contamination, this cannot always be guaranteed.
The Bar
We operate a licensed bar on site serving wine, beer and soft drinks throughout the afternoon.

Booking
Spaces are limited and booking are taken on a first come first served basis.
This is a family friendly event.
Children’s tickets include a half portion of the same menu choices as the adults.
No need to buy tickets for 4 years or under - they can come for free. ( please let us know when you book your other tickets if you are bringing an under 4)
If your child requires a full adult portion they must have a full adult ticket.
Children are very welcome to roam the surroundings. There are all the usual hazards that you would expect from a natural woodland, including a stream. You may want to bring waterproof or a change of clothes.

We do normally exercise a two night minimum but if availability allows we can arrange single night in conjunction with a Sunday lunch tickets. Please contact us directly for more details.

We have a fully enclosed event space with wood burners creating a completely cosy environment - even when the Yorkshire weather does it’s worst.

This event is something we absolutely love to host, a chance to slow down, bring people together and share food in a place that is so special to us.
