Yes, It is perfectly safe to drink, delicious and has zero chemicals in it.

Our spring water is piped from the source and stored near to the cabin where it is treated with UV light filter to kill any unwanted bacteria then piped into the cabins.

This is the water that come out of all the taps and shower and it an absolute treat to drink and bathe in.

We have fairly good EE signal with 5G.

Other network aren’t good here.

You can get signal on other networks a short walk up the hill.

A car is certainly the easiest way to get here as there is no public transport.

We are a 2 - 2.30 hour train ride from London KIngscross. You can take that train to York (1hr away) and hire a car in the station or Thirsk (20 mins away) and take a taxi from there.

We are surrounded by 300 acres of wild Yorkshire countryside, nestled into the edge of the North York Moors National Park.

There are stunning walks right from the door whether you want a 20 min mosey through the woods or an 1hr30 hike to the local pub.

We provide maps for the walk to the pub and also for a gorgeous 4 mile loop that takes in Rievaulx Abbey along the way.

We do recommend picking up supplies along the way as there is no shop particularly nearby.

Helmsley (5.5 miles away) is a lovely market town with independent shops, delis, cafés, pubs, and a Co-op open until 10pm. It’s well worth a visit.

Most routes come through thirsk which has large supermarket and a convent budgens as you come off the A168 - less charming than Helmsley, but useful for en route essentials.

If you’re walking to Hawnby for the Pub there an adorable little village shop and tea room at the bottom of the village.

All our accomadation lies along the side of the stream in our hidden valley. All our properties including our house sit within 150 m along the stream.

each property is between 20- 40m apart.

All the accommodation has been built with privacy in mind so windows and deck areas have been arranged not to look on to their neighbours. All the accommodation is extremely well screened with vegetation.
