Secret Valley Cottage
Our on grid option. It has wifi, heating and is dog friendly. Located next door to the hosts it is slightly less secluded than the others but the access is more direct with parking adjacent and once you walk out of the french doors at the back, into your private garden and listen to the stream trickle by, you’ll feel like you’re the only ones on earth.
It has a kingsize bedroom with an ensuite shower room and access to the back garden, separate kitchen/dining/living area. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob/oven and under counter fridge. All cutlery, crockery and pans are included as well as kitchen basics. Herbal and black tea, coffee, pasta, rice, oil.
“Katy and Skot’s place was the perfect location for a getaway for my partner and I. The accommodation was simple but had everything we needed, including to do some cooking, and the terrace and BBQ/fire pit area on the back terrace overlooking the beautiful creek was the perfect place to relax in the evening. There are some lovely walks in the area (including some starting from the accommodation) and also some amazing restaurants and pubs in the surrounding villages like Helmsley and Oldstead. Katy and Skot were wonderful hosts. We had a brilliant time and would return in a heartbeat. Thanks a lot Katy and Skot!”
