Inside, the space is compact and cleverly designed, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area is fully stocked with the essentials, including an oven, hob, under-counter fridge freezer, and all cookware and cutlery.

The bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed with a handcrafted wooden headboard. French doors open directly from the bedroom onto the deck and garden, allowing you to wake up to peaceful forest views and the calming sounds of nature—perfect for a morning tea or slow start to the day.

This is our on-grid option, ideal for guests who love nature but prefer modern comforts. You'll have access to reliable heating and Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected or work remotely if needed.

Tastefully decorated in natural tones with bespoke wooden features, the interior reflects the surrounding landscape and invites total relaxation.

Though this cabin is located beside the hosts’ home and is slightly less secluded than our off-grid options, the benefit is easy access, adjacent parking, and total privacy once you’re inside. Step out into the garden and you’ll feel like you’re the only ones around.

“Katy and Skot’s place was the perfect location for a getaway for my partner and I. The accommodation was simple but had everything we needed, including to do some cooking, and the terrace and BBQ/fire pit area on the back terrace overlooking the beautiful creek was the perfect place to relax in the evening. There are some lovely walks in the area (including some starting from the accommodation) and also some amazing restaurants and pubs in the surrounding villages like Helmsley and Oldstead. Katy and Skot were wonderful hosts. We had a brilliant time and would return in a heartbeat. Thanks a lot Katy and Skot!”
